Come as you are, and I'll take care of the rest.
JUST THINK OF IT AS A HANGOUT with a new friend (me) who happened to bring their camera (YAY!)

I am anti-posing, anti-staged, anti-anything that feels like a JCPenney family photoshoot or those dreaded yearbook photos.
The biggest lie I hear from the lovely people in front of my camera is, "I'm awkward." I’m committed to proving you wrong and making you feel comfortable and confident in front of my camera. During a session with me, you will be moving around a lot and (hopefully) laughing a lot while telling me about the people and things you love most. You'll rarely hear an 'okay, now smile' from me. It's all about letting go and trusting me to capture you as you are.
I want you to love your photos and feel like they are true to who you are as an individual. Do you and your partner go roller skating often? Sick! Let’s do your engagement photos there! Is there a spot you like to like to watch the sunset at? I want to photograph you in it! Let’s do something you love; something uniquely you, because I believe that when you look back at your photos, you will remember how it felt.
my recipe for authenticity = You + the person you love + the place you love + things you love doing
So if we're going to get up-close-and-personal,
it's important that we're a good fit.
Before any session or wedding is booked, I'll want to meet you for coffee or hop on a call to make sure we click. It's so important for me to connect with you (and visa versa) prior to any session. I want every person in front of my camera to feel like a friend (a hang out, share a playlist, play Just Dance kind of friend, lol). That is the place where the most authentic photos come from.
